How the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser compares
BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser vs Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro
The Pet Hair Eraser runs longer on a charge, at up to 17 minutes against 10 minutes, and holds more in its tank. Shark lists a self-cleaning pet power brush, a scrubbing brush and a 2 year warranty Shark.
BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser vs BLACK+DECKER dustbuster furbuster
Both are cordless hand vacuums with a motorized pet brush. The Pet Hair Eraser holds a little more and runs longer on a charge. BLACK+DECKER lists a lighter body, an extendable crevice tool and a 2 year warranty BLACK+DECKER.
The motorized brush is a powered head that pulls embedded hair and dirt out of soft surfaces. BISSELL lists it for furniture, carpet, stairs and car interiors BISSELL. It clips into the nose of the hand vacuum and comes off again.
The manual asks you to power the machine off before you fit or remove the brush manual. Push the brush in until it clicks. To take it off, press the button on top and pull.
The brush roll lifts out for cleaning behind a plate that a coin opens. Hair wraps around any brush roll, so plan on clearing it.
Battery and charging
BISSELL lists up to 17 minutes of runtime per full charge, and says it may vary with use BISSELL. The battery is a 14.4 volt lithium-ion pack. BISSELL calls 17 minutes enough for most spot-cleaning jobs such as stairs, a sofa or the car.
The charging light tells you where you are. A blinking red light means it is charging. A green light that stays on for 10 minutes, then blinks once a minute, means it is full manual.
The manual says to use the supplied charger, and gives the charger model on the white warning label on the hand vacuum.
What does Triple Level Filtration mean?
BISSELL lists the filter type as 3 Stage, and says Triple Level Filtration improves how the hand vacuum cleans BISSELL. BISSELL does not publish a capture percentage or a particle size for this model, so neither is claimed here.
The filter sits inside a filter cup inside the dirt tank. The manual says not to run the vacuum with a damp filter, or with no filter or tank in place manual.
Is the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser filter washable?
Yes. The manual says the filter and the filter cup may be hand washed in warm water and mild dish detergent manual. Rinse them well and let them dry completely before you put them back.
BISSELL's page says the same in its FAQ. Take out the dirt cup, remove the filter, tap off the debris and rinse it with water BISSELL. The manual sends you to BISSELL.com when a filter needs replacing.
Which surfaces does BISSELL list?
